How long have you been working in costs?

I have worked in costs since 1991, having started in the profession after leaving school.

When did you join PIC?

I joined PIC in January 2025.

What work do you do?

I am a Legal Costs Consultant with extensive experience across both Claimant and Defendant costs work. I initially dealt with Claimant work, including Private Client and Legal Aid bills, before moving into Defendant negotiations and Claimant bill drafting.

My experience across different areas of costs allows me to bring a practical and well-rounded approach to the matters I work on.

Additional personal details:

I enjoy baking and blowing away the cobwebs on my motorbike, but not at the same time!
