How long have you been working in costs?

I have been working in costs for ten years, mainly in-house at large law firms, before joining PIC.

When did you join PIC?

I joined PIC in January 2024.

What work do you do?

I am a Senior Costs Consultant with experience gained across a number of large law firms, including Slater and Gordon, DWF, Keoghs, BLM and HCC Solicitors.

Before moving into costs, I worked as an Employment Law Advisor, giving me a broader legal background that supports my work in costs. I also hold a Business Degree from the University of Huddersfield and completed my Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Chester.

Additional personal details.

Interests include creative writing, reading, walking, watching tennis, travel, culture, theatre/film and music. Previously lived in South Korea for 2 years teaching English to primary school children. I like foreign languages, although I don’t speak any fluently.
