How long have you been working in costs?

I have been working in costs for 25 years.

When did you join PIC?

I joined PIC in January 2022.

What work do you do?

I am a Cost Lawyer at PIC with experience across all aspects of costs work. Over the years, I have worked on road traffic accidents, union cases, industrial disease, employers’ liability, serious personal injury, clinical negligence matters, civil disputes and land disputes.

I hold an LLB Law Degree and LPC. I became a Fellow of the Association of Cost Draftsmen in 2007/8 and qualified as a Cost Lawyer in 2010.

Additional personal details:

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my three daughters, family and friends. I try to keep healthy by going to the gym, walking and swimming.

I also enjoy watching Rugby League and regularly go to watch my home team, St Helens RLFC.
