Lee Doore 1970 – 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee Doore, Senior Costs Consultant at PIC Legal Costs Specialists. Lee passed away on Saturday as a result of an accident. He was a dedicated employee, a brilliant team member and friend to many. He was known for his love of rugby, motorcycling and the armed forces; with him being a former member of the Royal Marine Commandos.

Lee had started at Partners In Costs back in 2014 and left us in 2016 for a short time returning for his next stint in 2019.  He was one of our Senior Costs Draftsmen and has a dedicated following of clients from across the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence fields.

His wife, Jayne Doore, has confirmed that rather than receiving flowers, she would like us to collect monies for two charities close to Lee’s heart, Help for Heroes and The Royal Marines Charity, the links below should anyone wish to donate.

Mark Hardcastle – former employer “Both Steve Page and I are deeply shocked and saddened to read this news! As a former employee of ours, Lee started off as an experienced and diligent Costs Draftsman, and soon became our friend. We were only messaging a few weeks back to arrange a catch up! Lee was a top top bloke and one of the most hard working costs professionals I have worked with. My deepest condolences go to his family.”

Wayne Thorpe – former colleague “I’m so shocked and stunned and can’t believe it. We worked together on various occasions and it was an absolute pleasure. My condolences to his family and friends”

Clare Langford – client “Very sad news. Lee was always a pleasure to deal with and will be very much missed. Thinking of all his friends and family ❤️”

Please keep the Doore family in your thoughts and prayers.
